Delivery
Items purchased from Nordic Direct are usually dispatched within 48 Hrs. All orders to mainland UK addresses (excl. Scottish Highlands and Islands) with a total greater than £100.00 (excluding VAT & Shipping) qualify for FREE delivery unless stated otherwise on this website.
In the event that all or part of your order is not in stock, we shall inform you by e-mail as
soon as possible. Non-stock items normally ship within 3-5 days. Nordic Direct will endeavour
to keep you regularly updated on any non-stock items ordered and that are on back order for more
than 10 days. Nordic Direct, shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to achieve any
delivery or other date, all dates being estimates only.
All packages are covered by transit insurance for a period of 28 days from the date of shipment
from Nordic Direct. In the case of any damage or instances of delivery failure you MUST inform
us (Nordic Direct) within 14 days of the date of shipment. You should send an email to sales@nordicpartsdirect.co.uk clearly
stating your order number, together with details of the problem. Failure to notify us may result
in your package no longer being covered by insurance, and consequently the liability for loss
or damage will have to be borne by the customer.
Deliveries will be made to the delivery address provided by you during checkout, you may select
a different delivery address to your billing address if required (eg. a work address etc.). Please
note that we can only ship to the one delivery address provided and can not use any alternative
(eg neighbour etc.). All packages must be signed for at the delivery address provided and will
not be left without a signature.
Undeliverable Orders
Orders that have been correctly despatched to the shipping address as supplied by the customer,
and which are subsequently returned to Nordic Direct as undeliverable, whether by courier or postal
service, are subject to a maximum refund of the value of the products ordered only, (not including
shipping costs). Furthermore, the customer is also liable to pay any applicable return postage
costs, as well as make further payment for re-shipment should this be required.
To avoid this situation, you are strongly advised to double check that the shipping address
you provide for your order is accurate.
Tax Charges
Nordic Direct, is registered in Great Britain for VAT. Registration Number 680 2107 62. All
orders to destinations within the UK and/or EEC will have VAT added to the value of the order.
At this time Nordic Direct is unable to ship goods within the EEC exclusive of VAT.
Guarantee
All products are supplied with the manufacturers guarantee. This does not affect your statutory
rights.
Cancellation
If you are a UK customer, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 7 days of receipt.
You may do this by taking or sending by post, fax or e-mail a WRITTEN notice of cancellation to:

Please note that the above right does not apply for any non-defective ECU or PPC upgrades
that have been specifically programmed for your vehicle, these items are not returnable under
any circumstances.
When returning goods, please state your full name and address and the Returns Merchant Authorisation
number (RMA) you have been issued with to identify your order. Any order returned to us without
this information will be refused.You have until the expiry of SEVEN WORKING DAYS (i.e. excluding
Saturday, Sunday, bank holidays and public holidays), starting with the day after the products
are delivered, to exercise this right. If you exercise your right to cancel, any money you have
paid for your order will be refunded not including your expense of returning the products.
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel, you must also take good care of the products until
you return them and ship the product to us. All items must be returned unused in their original
packaging and in a saleable condition. All returns must be well packaged to protect items from
damage in transit. Any damage that occurs in transit to Nordic Direct will be deemed to be the
responsibility of the customer and any costs arising from this will be for the customers account.
All returns should be sent using an insured postal service. We do not accept proof of postage
as proof of delivery.
Any stock order placed that has been correctly supplied by Nordic Direct and is subsequently
not required can be returned to us unused, subject to a restocking fee of 20%. In this instance,
the cost of return carriage must be paid by the customer.
Non-stock or Special orders (i.e. those that have been ordered specifically for your vehicle
and can not be resold) cannot be cancelled, such items include but are not limited to ECU & PPC
upgrades.
Stock orders can be cancelled prior to despatch without penalty.
Inspection/Return procedures
Customer shall inspect the products within 30 days of receipt, such period being confirmed by
Customer to be a reasonable period to examine the products for defects or shortfalls, and notify
Nordic Direct promptly of any non-conformance. Failure to notify Nordic Direct within that 30-day
period will constitute acceptance of the products for all purposes.
- Electrical Items:
Nordic Parts Direct will not accept the return of electrical items if supplied correct to the application of the vehicle.
No product may be returned for any reason without the prior approval of Nordic Direct. Customer
is responsible for returning products to Nordic Direct at the Customer's risk and expense. Prior
to returning product(s) to Nordic Direct the Customer must obtain a Return Material Authorisation
("RMA") number from Nordic Direct by e-mailing returns@nordiccar.com or calling 01932 338 618.
Nordic Direct shall not be responsible for failure of the delivery service to make on-time delivery.
Customer must ship the product(s) to Nordic Direct in the original packaging, prepaid and insured,
with the RMA number clearly identified on the packaging.
Please note that once you have been issued with an RMA, goods to be returned should be despatched
promptly via insured delivery service to Nordic Direct at the address provided below. All goods
to be returned MUST be returned within 14 days of issue of your RMA. Any goods not returned within
a 14 day period following issue of your RMA may be subject to additional charges or in certain
circumstances become non-refundable.
International Returns
As above you must contact us prior to returning any items to us. Once authorised for return,
all packages must be clearly and prominantly marked on the outside of the package as being 'returned
to original sender' it is also important that this is clearly marked on any customs documentation
together with the reason for return. Any packages not clearly marked as such may become liable
for import duty and taxes, in this instance delivery to us may be refused or duties/taxes charged
as such to the sender.

Any product(s) returned to Nordic Direct shall become the property of Nordic Direct. If Nordic
Direct determines that failure of the product(s) was not a result of a defect in materials or
workmanship within the terms of the manufacturers warranty, Nordic Direct reserves the right to
charge the customer for the parts. Nordic Direct will advise the customer prior to assessing these
charges.
